Tris: her story

Should you choose to read the following, you are entering into a universe that ranges from the serious to the silly. In my experience, this is what the thing we tend to rationalize as 'real life' is. It is unlikely that any of the things you will read about will come about in this 'real life,' but simply take it as a work of fiction, and should the dates and times not quite work out in years to come, consider this a work of alternative future history. The names and particulars of a few organizations are changed herein, one in particular which should be immediately obvious; a fictional organization is more fun to work with. There is more room for creativity.
This is the story of at least part of the life and times of one intelligent being, whose name is Tris. Though at times it may seem plodding and perhaps nonlinear in plot progression, you never know... you might find something interesting. And I'm sure she would appreciate it. If you would like to know her story, who she is, where she is from, and what her life is like, then by all means, read on.
I make no excuse in pointing out that this will be a very long tale to tell. I make no excuse for a certain 'quirkiness' that may pervade it. At times, things may not seem to make much sense. But that is how life is. I make no excuse for sometimes shifting from the serious to the comical. If I were to tell her story from anything other than this admittedly strange way, I would do a disservice to all parties involved. This is above all, HER story.
Last, but certainly not least, I place this story online for all to read freely, should you choose. I have no illusions of being so great a teller of tales as to profit from this; nor would I wish to. All I ask is that you read, respect, and enjoy. And if you'd like, drop Tris a note. She does love to hear from people.
